Web Developer Donates Web Site to Local Non-Profit
Total Site, Inc. Designs Site for Emergency Family Assistance Association

BOULDER, CO - The Emergency Family Assistance Association of Boulder has a brand new web site, http://www.efaa.org, thanks to a generous donation from a local web developer. Boulder-based Total Site, Inc. offered its design and development services to the family crisis organization, recognizing its significant contributions to the families of Boulder County.

EFAA helps families in need by providing assistance with food, financial crises and housing. The basic needs program focuses on providing families with food, rent, utility bills, minor medical expenses, transportation, furniture, and case management services. The housing program provides emergency housing and support services, as well as transitional housing for families requiring stays of six weeks or longer. The new web site offers more details on both of these programs and information on how Boulder County residents can give their support.

Since its inception in 1998, Total Site, Inc. has designed and developed web sites for clients in a wide range of industries. While the firm specializes in ecommerce solutions for businesses, President Brian Hansen said that he wanted to establish a sense of civic obligation within Total Site as part of the company's culture. "I think it's important to maintain some kind of balance between work and personal life. The EFAA site is just a part of Total Site's commitment to the community," Hansen said.

In addition to design, Total Site also donated one of its proprietary application services. The Mail Mule is a self-maintaining, opt-in email list that allows EFAA to send its quarterly newsletter, action alerts and campaign information to interested supporters. According to Hansen, Total Site will also provide web services to EFAA in the future, including another proprietary application that facilitates site maintenance and web traffic analyses.
