Communications Innovater Launches Corporate Web Site
Uses Internet to Recruit Technology Experience

BOULDER, CO - Picolight, Incorporated, an innovator in laser-based, fiber optic communications, announces the launch of their corporate web site, http://www.picolight.com.

Picolight designs, manufactures and markets laser-based, fiber optic components and subsystems that deliver multi-Gigabit bandwidth to manufacturers of telecom switch, storage area network and enterprise network equipment. Picolight's innovative Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) and compact packaging allow the company's transmitters and receivers (transceivers) to deliver higher reliability, lower power, compact size and better-managed fiber-optic interconnect capability.

Since 1995, Picolight has made great strides in researching, developing and marketing their VCSEL technology. They now occupy a 27,500 square foot facility and have received over $14 million in funding. The company's expansion has produced a demand to fill positions in engineering, quality, sales and marketing. Picolight uses the web site as a recruiting tool in its own right, and in conjunction with other efforts like their print campaigns.
