$50 Billion Japanese Company to Expand Web Services
Tomen's Textile Fabric Division Connects Distributors at Site

BOULDER, CO - The Textile Fabrics Division of the Tomen Corporation is once again inreasing its web capabilities. The clothing materials arm of the $50 billion corporation will offer new services for distributors at its site, http://www.gelanots.com. Chief among those services will be a secure-order ecommerce area where fabrics can be purchased.

Tomen will use the textile division web site to display samples, overruns and new fabric lines in a password-protected section designed specifically for the company's five hundred distributors. The increased transaction efficiency and customer contact coupled with the immediacy of the web medium should give Tomen a boost against industry competition like W. L. Gore & Associates. The fabric giant will also give its current site a facelift when the permission-based ecommerce tools are implemented.

Founded in 1920, the Tomen Corporation maintains divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates in industries ranging from information technology to foodstuffs.
